What is PFLAG Chattanooga?
PFLAG Chattanooga is a support group that meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 400 Glenwood Dr., Chattanooga, TN.
PFLAG Chattanooga provides support through in-person meetings, outreach, and a variety of additional resources.

What is PFLAG?
PFLAG is an organization of LGBTQ+ people, parents, families, and allies who work together to create an equitable and inclusive world. We are hundreds of thousands of people and hundreds of chapters from coast to coast who are leading with love to support families, educate allies, and advocate for just, equitable, and inclusive legislation and policies. This resource list was put together in 2019 and needs to be updated (and WILL be!). But for now, maybe it will be helpful.

The TEP Foundation provides a variety of educational and organizing programming. We have registered 364 voters online since October. 2017. We provide workshops called Advocacy 101 across the state so that more people can engage their elected officials. We monitor and analyze state legislation related to the LGBTQ community.
The Trevor Project’s mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ young people.

GLAAD works through entertainment, news, and digital media to share stories from the LGBTQ community that accelerate acceptance.

GLSEN-- Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network
GLSEN believes that every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ-inclusive K-12 education. We are a national network of educators, students, and local GLSEN Chapters working to make this right a reality.
Our research and experience has shown that there are four major ways that schools can cultivate a safe and supportive environment for all of their students, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.
Chattanooga Pride is the LGBTQ+ Pride Festival for the greater Chattanooga area. Managed by the 501(c)3 non-profit Tennessee Valley Pride. Our volunteer board works year-round to bring the LGBTQ+ community and our allies together for events, various causes, and to build networks of support which benefit all of us.
